"Ashley is my insurance agent, a professional, kind, and knowledgeable person if you need any type of insurance. Jake was unavailable at the time, but I got someone better!! Update… when the chips are down you find out who will stand next to you shoulder to shoulder. My Home flooded and had almost 2 inches of water due to my toilet float valve stuck open. Did my due diligence and turned off the water and called servepro and State Farm to get the process started on the morning of September 9th. Thought that everything was going to be fine, but after a few days I found out they sold me a policy from Dover Bay.. a secondary company. I bought not only what I thought was a good homeowner’s policy but flood insurance as well. Guess what? Yep, in fine print my policy is capped at 10k, and basically the owner says he feels bad, but there is nothing they can do. As of today September 25th, I still don’t have all the paperwork and official denial of my claim. This company has avoided my phone calls, and when they do.. my “Agent “ and the owner give me the run around. Let talk about the money and how poor State Farm ripped me off. I paid over 4K for the start of my policy. My deductible is around 3.9K. My estimated for repair of my home is about 40K, and my personal property that was destroyed by sewage water is about 10k, and finally the servepro bill is at 12 K. So total will be around 62,000 dollars. Let’s look at poor State Farm and what they will pay me. 10K cap. So the math is they are only losing roughly 2,000 dollars.. that’s it. They keep making commercials and move on, leaving a customer/Client on the hook. Sales were great, until I found out I was ripped off. Don’t fall into the trap I did."
